Quiet Time

Quiet Time is from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. All electronic devices (includes automobiles and use of locking vehicles using remote horns) are to be turned off during quiet hours. Please use common courtesy for other campers around you.

Garbage/Recycling

Garbage is to be bagged and placed in garbage bin located beside Pump Out Station. Recyclable material to be placed in bins by main washroom.

Visitors – Seasonal Occupants Only


Must let your guest know your site # or greet them at the gate.

ALL VISITORS to the campground must park their vehicles in the Visitor Parking and Walk In.

No visitors or vehicles are allowed to enter the campground after 9:00 pm.
Registered Campers must advise the office staff if you are expecting any visitors (not all visitors may be allowed in, especially if campground is at capacity). Please be courteous of the time of day visitors are arriving – ie. before Special Events.

  • No Visitors allowed for Transient Overnight camping (ONLY for Seasonal occupants)
  • Day Visitors must be signed in by their host and pay a $5. per person day fee for any one over age 5. Must leave by 9pm.
  • Overnight Visitors must be signed in by their host and pay a $10. per person overnight fee for any one over age 5. Must leave by 12pm the next day.

Firewood

Please help us protect our forests DO NOT TRANSPORT FIREWOOD, it is illegal. Moving firewood, even just a few kilometers away, can spread invasive and destructive insect species such as the Emerald Ash Borer and Asian long-horned beetle to our forests. You could face penalties of up to $50,000 and/or prosecution if you move firewood. You can find more info on this topic at www.inspection.gc.ca

  • Firewood is available to purchase at store. Any remaining firewood should not leave the campground. No cutting or damaging trees on the property for fire wood.

Campfires

Campfires must be completely extinguished before retiring for the evening. Do not leave fires unattended. Do not burn garbage or leave garbage in the fire pits. Fire pits are placed in an area that should work for your site. This will damage the property if moved. Campfires are only allowed in the fire pits provided at each campsite and only to a maximum of 0.6 meters (2 feet) in height.

Cancellations/Changes

Reservation/Change/Cancellation Fees are Non-Refundable.

  • When canceling prior to departure time, NO CASH refunds are provided under any circumstances at the campground. No refunds will be issued.
  • Campers evicted from the campground for any circumstance are not eligible for reimbursement.
  • Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore, no reimbursement will be approved for discomforts of nature including rain, snow, temperature change and insects.

Posted Signs

Drivers must obey the posted speed limit signs and be aware of pedestrians, especially children at all times.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the following areas as per Ontario law: Rental Units, rented Canoes/Kayaks/Tubes, Buildings or within 20 ft of building doorway, Pavilion or within 20 ft of or on the Beach. Cigarette butts on the ground are considered litter and can also become a hazard to the park.

Alcohol & Cannabis

Alcohol & Cannabis is restricted to your campsite. All illegal substances are prohibited in campground. In the event that a subject of valid nuisance complaints by other Occupants or their visitors, as determined by Owner may restrict such consumption or smoking on site.

Pets

Pets must be on a leash not exceeding 2 meters (6 feet) and must be under control at all times. Pets are not to make excessive noise or disturb other persons and are not permitted in the beach area. Poop and scoop applies at all times. No fenced areas allowed on your site. Dogs must be accompanied at all times. Due to the safety of everyone in the park certain dog breeds considered to be an ‘aggressive’ or ‘dangerous dog’ are not welcomed.

Campground Closed

Campground is Closed to Transient Campers from the day after Thanksgiving Monday to the May Long Weekend. No trailers will be removed or pulled into a campsite between these times. At no time will anyone enter the premises for any reason. This is also the park’s time for cleanup, repair and construction at which time no one is allowed on the grounds. This is Private Property and you would be trespassing and Ontario laws would apply.
